means you're not just saying the same thing as any other article online. And
that's what brands really want to pay for - their thoughts, experiences and
insider information in their niche.
Strategically, you should
always write about the topic in question. Do not send a round or unspecific
articles. It's hard for a hiring manager to know how well you understand the
niche industry if you can't see a sample of relevant writing. Apply for
opportunities that suit your skills and experience. Also, if your sales pitch
doesn't have a list of links to write samples, it will be ignored.
